Job Description

Bright Future English is one of the fastest-growing online English schools for young learners, serving over 50,000 students across 30 countries. We are looking for energetic, patient, and creative ESL teachers to deliver engaging online lessons to children and teenagers aged 5 to 15.

Our classes are designed around an immersive, activity-based learning approach. Rather than traditional lecture-style teaching, you will guide students through interactive stories, songs, games, role-play scenarios, and structured speaking activities that build confidence and fluency naturally. Our proprietary classroom platform includes animated lesson materials, virtual rewards, and parent progress dashboards.

Students are grouped by age and proficiency level, so you will typically teach either the 5–8 age group (beginner to elementary), the 9–12 age group (elementary to intermediate), or the 13–15 age group (intermediate to upper-intermediate). All lesson plans and teaching materials are pre-prepared, though teachers are encouraged to add their own creative touches.

• Deliver 25-minute interactive one-on-one English lessons to students aged 5–15
• Use props, puppets, songs, and digital tools to maintain high engagement with young learners
• Follow the provided age-appropriate curriculum, adapting pacing and activities to individual student needs
• Complete brief progress reports after each class using our teacher dashboard
• Maintain a consistent weekly schedule of 25–30 teaching hours during peak hours (6AM–10PM Beijing Time)
• Attend weekly team meetings and monthly training sessions focused on young learner pedagogy

Requirements

• Native or near-native English proficiency with clear, neutral pronunciation
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from an accredited university
• A recognized 120-hour TESOL or TEFL certificate (CELTA, Trinity CertTESOL, or equivalent also accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of teaching experience with children or teenagers (online or in-person)
• High-energy, patient, and engaging teaching style suited to young learners
• Stable internet connection (minimum 15 Mbps) with HD webcam and noise-canceling headset
• Quiet, colorful, and child-friendly teaching background (we provide a $50 background decoration stipend)
• Ability to commit to a minimum of 25 teaching hours per week for at least 12 months
• Availability during peak teaching hours: 6:00 AM – 10:00 PM Beijing Time (UTC+8)
